Bishop Charles F. Lackey, Founder and President

At the age of 16, God gave Bishop Lackey a vision that, at the time, he did not understand or know its meaning. It would be forty years later that he would learn its meaning.

The vision was on a dark and cloudy night in the year 1960 as Bishop Lackey was walking home from a church service with his brother and a sister. They had taken a short cut through an alley behind their house. As they entered the alley, a great light appeared in the heavens, as if the sun was coming out. Three crosses emerged from that light, with the middle cross standing out larger than the other two. There was such an awesome presence that the three siblings fell to their knees in worship.
Bishop Lackey left his two siblings still worshipping and ran to the house wanting to get his mother so she could witness this as well; however, by the time he was able to awake his mother, the crosses had disappeared, but the light still hovered in the sky.

Bishop Lackey called several friends who had been in the church service that night to see if they had also witnessed this. They had seen the light, but had not seen the crosses.

For forty years, Bishop Lackey pondered as to why he had been shown this vision and "what was its meaning?" Then in the year 2000, Bishop Lackey was on his first missionary trip to Africa. As the plane was making its approach into Capetown, South Africa, Bishop's Lackey's heart leaped within him; as a prophecy that was spoken over him some thirty years earlier came to his rememberance. The prophecy was that he would go to the nations and proclaim the gospel.

Later on this same trip, Bishop Lackey was in an outdoor meeting in Nairobi. While worshipping with the Nairobians as they sang and danced before the Lord, suddenly the voice of the Lord spoke to him and said, "This, my son, is why I showed you the crosses in 1960. You will now preach my cross over the continent of Africa". Since this time, he has been consumed with a desire to reach lost souls in Africa and around the world; as well as help meet material needs.

*Isaiah 6:8 Also, I heard the voice of the Lord saying: "Whom shall I send and who will go for Us?" Then said I, "Here am I! Send me."

According to Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven. Once we tap into our purpose, then we will see God move on our behalf to see our purpose fulfilled.

                          Mission Statement

A) We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

B) We believe that there is one God three persons: Father; Son; Holy Spirit.

C) We believe in the diety of our Lord, Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious sufferings and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

D) we believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, not as a result of good works.

E) We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a godly life and perform good works.

F) We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life; and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

G) We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
